Tampa, FL — (Tuesday, October 26, 2010) — HCP & Associates won the Gold MarCom Award for their viral online broadcast campaign “Evolution of Exteriors” for longtime Michigan-based client, Dentco. In addition, HCP won an “Honorable Mention” for another HD viral broadcast campaign featuring a series of online commercials for Florida-based pro bono client, Camp Boggy Creek.
The Dentco campaign consisted of 12 HD viral broadcast commercials, which were played on Dentco’s Web site (www.dentco.com) throughout 2010. The Macintosh-type direction of photography and quirky comedic writing scored big for HCP this year, with various industry awards, delivering the firm new icons for its trophy case.

HCP’s latest pro bono client, Camp Boggy Creek (www.boggycreek.com), is a year-round camp for seriously ill children that offers weeklong summer sessions for the children, and family retreat weekends for the whole family.
Polins added, “We were lucky enough to meet the team at Camp Boggy Creek through Leadership Florida and became fast friends when we visited the organization and understood their mission. Our first creative briefing included a life-size cutout of the camp’s founder, Paul Newman. No pressure at all, right?”
There were almost 5,000 entries from throughout the United States and several foreign countries in the MarCom Awards competition. The Gold Award is presented to those entries judged to exceed the high standards of the industry norm. Approximately 18 percent were Gold Winners and only 10 percent were Honorable Mentions.
