Ava Awards today announced winners for the 2010 international awards competition

Dallas, TX (December 6, 2010) Ava Awards today announced winners for the 2010 international awards competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the concept, writing, direction, shooting and editing of audio-visual materials and programs. There were over 1,700 entries from throughout the United States, Canada and several other countries, in the 2010 competition.

Tampa-based HCP & Associates received six Ava Awards for its work for various clients and causes in 2010—three in the Platinum category and three in the Gold.

Platinum Ava Award Achievements:Clinton, Maryland-based client—Nasatka Barrier’s 3D animation titled, “A World of Security” DeWitt, Michigan-based client—DENTCO’s “Exterior of Evolutions” viral broadcast campaign Tampa, Florida—HCP’s in-house viral video titled, “Selling a Red Brick”

Gold Ava Award Achievements:
Ocala, Florida-based client—YouImpact’s PSA broadcast video titled, “After My D.U.I.”
Eustis, Florida-based pro-bono client—Camp Boggy Creek’s PSA titled, “Let the Love Shine”
Tampa, Florida-based client—Gulf+Atlantic Films’ short film titled, “I Would for You”

The Ava Awards competition is sponsored and judged by the Association of Marketing and
Communication Professionals (AMCP). The international organization consists of several thousand
production, marketing, communication, advertising, public relations and freelance professionals.
AMCP administers recognition programs; provides judges and rewards outstanding achievement
and service to the profession.

Winners were selected from over 160 categories in three divisions: Television Productions, Video/Film
Productions and Web/New Media. About 12% of the entries won the Platinum Award—the organization’s
