The Plasencia Group Retains HCP for New Brand
TAMPA, Fla. (May 15, 2013) The Plasencia Group (TPG), the global leader in private and institutional hotel and resort property consulting and advisory services announced today they will engage HCP to brand a new service division.
Lou Plasencia, the firm’s founder and CEO, formed The Plasencia Group in 1993, opening a single office, to meet the needs of a number of long-standing institutional clients. By introducing a new paradigm in the field of hotel and resort marketing, business quickly blossomed and the firm opened several regional offices throughout the United States. In its first year, The Plasencia Group completed just over $100 million in hotel transactions. Today, the company is involved in annual transitions that have a combined value of over $1 billion!
In recent years, The Plasencia Group has diversified, providing additional services such as asset management, mortgage brokerage, and distinctive property sales, through several affiliates and subsidiaries.
HCP will provide research, brand management, public relations, social media, and broadcast production. Initial research is slated for a June 1 start.
