Tampa, FL – (May 13, 2009) – Media Solutions Consulting Group (MSCG) has been working with The Florida Aquarium to implement two new programs, supplementing current monthly monitors and enabling the Tampa family venue to better understand and respond to its visitor, member and donor bases.
In December, MSCG along with the Aquarium’s marketing department implemented an intercept program to gather feedback from guests. A full quarter of data collection later, the Aquarium now has randomized data regarding how people are learning about the venue, how far they are travelling to arrive, preferred exhibits, satisfaction ratings and general comments. The data is compiled and reviewed by month and by quarter for trends and correlations with new marketing efforts and promotional specials.
The Aquarium is additionally reaching out to lapsed members to discuss their current status and gather feedback regarding their decision not to renew. This feedback directly from their member base impacts how The Aquarium will proceed in reaching out to their member base most effectively.
