TAMPA, Fla. (Jan. 16, 2019)- Due to the firm’s continual growth and development, HCP Associates Managing Partners Sean Coniglio and Eric Polins announced today the firm will begin the new year by welcoming a new professional to the team.

Anthony Kershner will serve as a Content Development Specialist.

“We are thrilled to have Anthony join HCP this year as an integral team member involved with humanizing our clients’ services and products across a broad variety of industries. We were lucky to have him get accustomed to HCP as a public relations intern last year and can’t wait to see what his creative energy brings to our firm as a content specialist,” Polins said.

Kershner is Western New York native. His dedication to be active and tackle new obstacles motivated him to travel over 1,000 miles to attend college in Florida. He recently graduated from the University of Tampa with Summa Cum Laude distinction with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies. In addition, Kershner graduated with a minor in Public Relations, which became his passion shortly after being immersed in the subject. Kershner’s zeal for writing and attention to detail will aid in the planning, development, generation, and implementation of copy for all mediums.

While attending UT, Kershner volunteered regularly with Habitat for Humanity. In addition, he was a member of the Honors Society Phi Kappa Phi and was a member of the University of Tampa Public Relations Student Society of America.

As a Content Development Specialist at HCP, Kershner will work with senior management, staff, clients and in the community to create an in-house department that concentrates on original content ranging from client press releases to innovative and compelling subject matter for an array of clients and HCP corporate needs. Kershner will research, write, and edit copy for marketing communications including but not limited to print and online articles, newsletters, videos, webinars, infographics, whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, websites and social media content. He will collaborate with team members across all departments in order to implement creative and strategic content plans.

Kershner will work conscientiously to understand technical subject matter in order to creatively transform information into relevant messages that will engage and educate a variety of both B2B and B2C audiences. Over time, Kershner will work to develop a strong public relations plan for all retainer-based clients.

Kershner has a passion for languages, culture, photography, social action and the environment. In his spare time, he enjoys reading novels in his hammock and playing beach volleyball with his friends. Fostering a deep enthusiasm for travel, Kershner hopes to eventually visit every state in the country.
