HCP Associates Expands Research Completing Succession Plan with Susan Schuler & Associates

TAMPA, Fla. (March 8, 2018) — HCP Associates’ Managing Partners Sean Coniglio and Eric Polins announced today that the firm will expand its research capabilities with the addition of veteran research firm Susan Schuler & Associates.

“We have worked with Dr. Schuler and her team for decades and she has been an extremely valuable partner when it comes to market research services for our clientele. After a few discussions, we came to an agreement that made sense for the mutual portfolio of research clients to engage in a permanent partnership with a succession plan, Coniglio said.”

According to HCP Partners, their objectives were to expand their research department’s capabilities, add to their senior research team of talent and expand their research-based clientele.

Dr. Schuler said, “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed what I do for a very long time and I’m both excited and thankful that HCP Associates engaged me with a succession plan that will allow me to slowly change my life/work transition, while expanding my ability to offer more services to my clients.

A graduate of the University of South Florida (BS and MA) and the University of Pennsylvania (PhD), Dr. Schuler has accumulated over 30 years of experience in marketing research including experience with professional marketing research firms, advertising agencies, as well as forming her own company.

She gained special expertise working with national health care companies, including the Prudential HMO and Comprehensive Care, as well as with major electric utilities (Tampa Electric and Florida Power) and Federal and State government agencies, including the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the National Aeronautic and Space Administration (NASA) and Governor Jeb Bush’s Department of Economic Development.

As HCP’s Senior Market Research Associate, Dr. Schuler will provide clients with quantitative and qualitative research expertise with questionnaire design, statistical analysis and reporting. She believes that the needs of the client are of paramount importance.  This includes bringing her experience to bear on the research methodology selected for each project, providing the most effective approach to questionnaire constructs while providing valid information to the client, seeking client input at key-decision points in the research process, keeping the client informed on progress and presenting results in concise, easy to interpret text, tables of data and graphics.

Dr. Schuler has taught marketing research at the undergraduate and graduate school levels as an Adjunct Professor at the University of South Florida and the University of Tampa.  In her spare time, she is involved with the Taoist Tai Chi Society of the USA, where she volunteers instructing tai chi classes for better health.
