Emerald Greens Condo/Hotel Engages HCP for Research and International Marketing

TAMPA, Fla. (October 1, 2013) Emerald Greens Condo-Hotel retained HCP Associates, Inc. today to conduct a market and competitor analysis prior to developing an international marketing strategy.

Emerald Greens Condo-Hotel is located on the property of Carrollwood Country Club, a 27-hole Country Club that recently sold for $6 million to California-based Concert Golf Partners this past summer.

HCP Senior Strategist/Partner, Sean Coniglio said, “Carrollwood Village is a master planned community in north Tampa that sparked residential, retail, and commercial business growth in the surrounding community several decades ago. Like many suburban communities, it has gone through several up and down cycles. Within the past decade, ownership made significant investments into this property through the construction of a new clubhouse, redesign of the golf course, tennis, pool, and fitness facilities, and constructed of high-end town homes and incorporated a Condo – Hotel featuring 50 two bedroom, two bathroom luxury suites.”

Concert Golf Partners and the Emerald Greens Condo-Hotel Management are working in tandem to prepare a cross-functional marketing strategy to attract both corporate and traditional guests to “Stay and Play” for both short and long-term packages.

Brent Pope, General Manager at Emerald Greens Condo–Hotel said, “We are working hard with Carrollwood Country Club to increase our brand visibility not only nationally, but internationally in order to be recognized as one of the top lodging destinations in central Florida (Tampa Bay area). What is unique about our property is the fact that you have first class accommodations with all of the amenities of a full service country club right here in the Carrollwood area. To have a hotel with so many amenities centrally located to the top attractions here in Tampa is truly exceptional. We hope HCP can help us strategically market our hotel both on a local and national level.”

HCP is conducting market research related to the local community, the international golf market and competing central Florida golf destinations in order to evaluate and compare several key factors such as ADR, packages, amenities, programs and offerings.

A new marketing campaign for the co-branded “Stay and Play” golf destination will likely roll-out in the winter of 2014.
