HCP’s name reflects its history. R. Patrick Hill founded the firm in 1986, and over the four decades since, Sean Coniglio, Eric Polins and many talented associates have helped shape HCP into the firm it is today.

1970s

The Procter & Gamble Discipline

R. Patrick Hill, a University of South Florida graduate who helped launch the Oracle, built an executive marketing career at Procter & Gamble before returning to Florida.

1985

Hill & Associates

Hill founded Hill & Associates in Tampa in 1985. The firm recorded an operating profit in 1986, the year HCP uses for every anniversary, while serving clients including Raymond James Financial, Media General and Sheraton Resorts.

2000

Coniglio Polins Interactive

Sean Coniglio and Eric Polins founded Coniglio Polins Interactive during the dot-com era. One of their first website projects was for Sheraton Sand Key Resort, a longtime Hill & Associates client. In 2000, they joined Hill’s office as minority partners.

2003

HCP Associates

HCP Associates, Inc. was formally incorporated in Florida on January 9, 2003. The firm has operated from the Joseph Garcia International Center at Port Tampa Bay since 2008. Today, Sean Coniglio and Eric Polins serve as Managing Partners, supported by a leadership team and associates who play an essential role in running the firm, serving its clients and carrying HCP forward.
