TAMPA, Fla. (August 1, 2018) – The Videographer Awards named HCP Associates as a winner of an Award of Distinction and an honorable mention today after judging concluded for the 22nd Annual Videographer Awards.
The Award of Distinction was awarded for producing the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay statewide vanity license plate public service announcement (PSA). The Award of Distinction is awarded for projects that exceed industry standards, with approximately 16 percent of entries receiving the award.
BBBS Director of Marketing and Communications, Claire Selius said, “The PSA takes a tongue-in-cheek approach to being a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay (BBBS) and was created in collaboration with HCP Associates to bring awareness to our statewide specialty license plate program. For each plate sold, BBBS receives $25 to help kids across Florida.”
HCP’s production company, Gulf Atlantic Films produced the PSA in the summer of 2017 for BBBS at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort in Clearwater Beach and featured current BBBS bigs and littles.
HCP’s honorable mention was awarded for an online video for another non-profit organization called The Military Learning Center of Tampa Bay (MLCTB). This online video introduces the public to Directors Tom Aderhold and Tom Fletcher; two dedicated veterans that are currently raising funds to complete the next phase of construction on what is currently the Veterans Resource Center located at the Veterans Memorial Park in Tampa Bay.
“The videos produced by HCP add the extra personal and professional touch we needed to make our website come alive,” says Fletcher.
HCP Associates’ Managing Partner Eric Polins said, “We have a great team that really enjoys storytelling for all of our clients, but its particularly rewarding for all of us to see our non-profits getting accolades and some great online equity with these award-winning videos.”
