Matthew Solomon

Manager of Communications

Born and raised on the sunny shore of New Jersey, Solomon received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing & Public Relations from Drexel University in Philadelphia. Solomon’s diverse experience in crisis communication and public relations has taken him through various industries, including culinary arts, legal services, tourism, hospitality, and healthcare. Solomon excels at providing clients confidence and direction during the moments of crisis to the celebration of success with a strong focus on communication strategy.

As Manager of Communications, Solomon works with a swathe of clients to serve their unique communication needs. Through developing communication strategies, stepping in to lead crisis communication when needed, developing dynamic partnerships, and serving as a voice for HCP and all clients, Solomon ensures clients are always putting their best foot forward. Having served in both agency environments and as an in-house director, Solomon is deeply familiar with the daily struggles and triumphs facing business leaders today.

Prior to joining the HCP team, Solomon served as a Director of Marketing & Community Relations in the Healthcare industry. When the COVID-19 virus swept across the globe, Solomon led the organization’s emergency task force to coordinate policy, serve as press secretary, and secure millions of dollars in emergency funding. Solomon has also served as an Account Manager in the restaurant industry, where he handled various high-end clients, including celebrity chef Jose Garces.

Solomon also received a master’s in healthcare administration from the University of Maryland to better serve and understand healthcare clients’ needs.

Outside the office, Solomon can often be found in the kitchen serving cuisine from across the globe to his partner Chance and their rescue dog Rosie.
