Aubrey Myrick

Research Intern

Originally from Ocala, Florida, Myrick moved to Tampa to study Mass Communications at the University of South Florida.

Entering her Junior year, Myrick is studying Integrated Advertising and Public Relations. Courses such as Political Communication, Issues in Sports Media, and Basic Marketing sparked her passion for marketing and communications. Myrick worked on behalf of the NCAA’s Women’s Final Four Tournament to produce a social media strategy for the organization’s Instagram account. Myrick collaborated with other classmates to plan the frequency for content to be posted during the week that the Final Four games were happening, which was hosted in Tampa.

Having an interest in marketing, research, as well as political communication, she joined an Undergraduate Research team at USF where she, along with other students and staff, worked on Sarasota County’s Annual Citizen Opinion Survey. Myrick was involved with the survey design process, primary research, and recorded trending Sarasota news topics. As HCP’s Research Intern, she will continue helping with the analysis, reporting, and presentation of data for the Sarasota County Citizen Opinion Survey. In addition, Myrick will collaborate across HCP’s departments to gain a wide range of industry experience.

Myrick is on USF Women’s Cross Country and Track and Field team, she also enjoys running leisurely in her free time, and spending time with her family, friends, and cat.
