HCP Produces Fundraising Video for New Pepin Heart Hospital & Research Institute.
Tampa, FL - (April 23, 2003) - HCP was honored with the task of producing the fundraising DVD and video for the future Pepin Heart Hospital & Research Institute at The University Community Hospital which is scheduled for completion on Feb. 14, 2005…Valentine's Day.
University Community Hospital took an important step in addressing heart disease. They embarked on an effort to challenge the region's existing heart treatment and education programs and stretched their efforts beyond that of any other regional hospital. With the help of philanthropist Art Pepin, and his family, University Community Hospital was able to form a special Institute and the Pepin Heart Hospital & Research Institute was formed.
Pepin Heart and Vascular Institute is now one of the finest treatment centers in the South. They are a leader in the number of cardiac procedures performed in the Tampa Bay area. They perform more angioplasties in a four-county area than any other facility.
The DVD and video will feature 3-D renderings and video of the new facility examining comprehensive cardiology services for prevention, diagnosis and treatment. The Pepin Heart Institute will offer 100,000 sq. ft. of intelligently designed facilities with 50 private pre- and post- procedural beds. And the rooms look like they belong in a four-star hotel, not a hospital.
It will house 50 respected cardiologists, five renowned cardiac surgeons, and hundreds of cardiology team members and staff. And it will broaden their ability to put patients, and the needs of their families first. It will be the first digital free-standing cardiac care facility in the Southeast. Physicians, clinicians and staff will be able to view complete, up-to-the-minute patient records instantly. This means patients won't have to wait hours, or even days, for test results. The critical information will be real-time. All of which is designed to reduce patient stress.
