HCP’s Senior Research Director Kicks off the Leadership Tampa Bay Year as Chair

TAMPA, Fla. (November 12, 2015) This past summer, the Leadership Tampa Bay Board of Directors voted in Senior Research Director Sarah Lindemuth as the organization’s chair for the 2015/2016 program year. Lindemuth will be supported by Vice Chair Stuart Williams with OnQ Financial.

Leadership Tampa Bay is a non-profit organization governed by an independent board of directors who live and work in various parts of the Tampa Bay region. Funded through tuition and sponsorships, the program offers senior level professionals within Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk counties a nine-month program where they are introduced to Tampa Bay’s most influential thought-leaders and experts on the region’s economic drivers, pressing issues, and growth and development opportunities. The alumni network of the organization is 27 years strong.

Lindemuth said, “The year is off to a great start. The class is doing its part by jumping in with both feet; I feel that it is my duty to pay it forward, offering my energy to ensure that we continually raise the bar for this invaluable program. The class’ first program day was last Thursday and by the number of times we heard, ‘I had no idea’ and saw jaws drop, we are well on our way to hitting the mark.”

Lindemuth graduated from the program in 2012, and joined the board the following year. In 2014, she co-chaired the PR & Communications Committee. The committee reinvigorated the organization’s social media presence, worked to rebuild connections with alumni and instituted a quarterly newsletter.
