HCP Associates Hires Former FOX 13 News Producer to its Diverse Team

TAMPA, Fla. (January 31, 2017) HCP Associates has named Kim Bailey as its new Manager of PR. In this position, Bailey will oversee the firm’s client and corporate communications, content development and social media.

“We are at an integral growth period for HCP and we spent a very long time searching for the right individual that had a solid news background in addition to experience in marketing communications,” said Eric Polins, Senior Brand Strategist/Partner at HCP Associates. “Kim’s creative writing skills and social media experience made her the ideal candidate for this new position at HCP. We are excited to have her on board and are even more excited the value-added propositions she will provide for our clients and our firm.”

Bailey spent nearly a decade producing local television news in several large household markets, including, most recently at Fox 13 in Tampa. At Fox 13, Bailey worked with household names like John Wilson, Mark Wilson, Kelly Ring and Charley Belcher.

Kim’s disciplined background as a former journalist and marketing manager make a perfect mix that will keep our clients ahead of the ever-changing content curve.”

Bailey landed her first producing gig at KTXS in Abilene, Texas. There she absorbed the ins and outs of the deadline driven news industry and learned to think on her feet for breaking news. She was commended for staying calm and collected under pressure.

After spending three years in West Texas, Bailey jumped up the TV market scale to Oklahoma City.  She covered a lot of major stories during her time there, everything from earthquakes to deadly tornadoes.
